Sounds Like: Catherine Conlin is an award winning poet and captivating performer. Her haunting lyrics contain fresh perspectives on familiar concepts. She plays guitar, glass, vocals and keyboards and with Hugo Godoy, the co-founder of Bedtime Story circa 2002. Scot Velardo's contribution can be described as "post-punk alien". His mastery of esoterica in sound on guitar, harmonica, ebo, accordion and vocals is unique and authentic. Hugo Godoy's unusual drum kit is an old Sioux tree stump, a galvanized trash can, congas, beaded gourds, claves and an ankle bracelet of shells. He is unparalleled in his understanding of reverberation and live, a Zen force to be reckoned with. Tammy Bickel is the seamstress that sews the sounds together with her silky flute & keyboard interpretations. Producers include Jim Forniadis at Dark Room, Joe Goldring at Closer Studios and Charles Gonzalez on 2" tape at a private studio, contribute their artistry to this fresh sound.
