I like to travel, I have been all over Europe, Scandinavia and the U.S.A. last year I spent half my time abroad -I usually go to Sweden and Norway 3 or 4 times a year and 2004 saw me spending 2 months in the U.S -Miami, Philly, New York and Xmas and new years in L.A, I played a gig in Holland, 3 in Germany, spent a weekend in Paris, Djayed in Stockholm and Gothenburg couple of times, spent three crazy nights in Tallin, Estonia. And for the rest of the time hung out at my pad in north London, oh and I still managed to find the time to record a couple of jazz albums in between...(The Greg Foat Group - Landscapes, A Time and a place) and a Folk Rock Project ORCESE & FOAT (also known as 'Jolly Roger') (they will be released as L.Ps on GOLDEN TABERNACLE RECORDS before Xmas 2006)
2005 was spent as follows:
January in L.A losing my sanity.
Febuary in Tallin, Estonia falling in love with my 'dream' girl.
March in Shitty Malaga, Spain having my heart broken.
May in London feeling miserable(Buying a Jag and a Porsche to cheer myself up).
June in Gothenburg and Stockolm, Sweden, mastering my album and preparing the album covers.
Then a week in Tallin, Estonia on the beautiful beaches there before spending the rest of July in NEW YORK recording for
WENDY JAMES AND HER NEW BAND 'RACINE'
Memorable moments of Manhattan are having a pint of Lager poured over my head by young lady after proposing a toast to 'American Feminism'
and getting into a fight with Johnny Knoxville over a game of pool...
August and September was spent on South beach, Miami, and to be honest it's mostly an alcoholic blur punctuated by memories of the beach/shoreclub pool, getting naked at clubs, passing out in the gutter/vip lounge/bath and getting chucked out and or banned from most of the clubs in Miami... HAPPY DAYS!!!!
God I miss it ;) October and November was spent back in dreary England. then December in New York doing more recording in the Studio, Christmas and New years in Miami (AMAZING!) then January back in New York freezing for fashion week and late Febuary/early March in L.A for the Oscars.
Since then I have Djayed in Stockholm spent a few days hibernating/recovering from alchohol withdrawall/jet lag in Tallinn Estonia, before spending the remaining 2 weeks off my face at a friends castle(One of the most bizarre experiences of my life ) back in England for a few weeks then back to New York and Miami for the summer...
Paris for fashion week and Miami for New Years again and then a European tour with Racine...
