Nací en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, Ciudad de las Montañas en el barrio de la Colonia Treviño, me gusto la música desde pequeño soy autodidacta de la guitarra y recibí nociones de música en la antigua Escuela de Música de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León en las calles 15 de Mayo y Guerrero siendo nuestro maestro de guitarra el Profesor Isidro Gracia Guerrero. En ese entonces formamos el primer trío junto con mi hermano Gregorio Rangel y un buen amigo Reyes Hernández Sifuentes, tocando en fiestas, ferias y serenatas, después se forma el cuarteto: Gregorio, Andrés y Alfredo hermanos y nuestras primeras voces, grandes cantantes: Silverio Soto, Juan M. Cruz, Prudencio Salinas y Raymundo Serna.También acompañamos en sus grabaciones a un buen cantante Roberto Vargas con Los Regiomontanos Goyo, Andrés y Alfredo Los Hermanos Rangel. El grupo realizo sus grabaciones en estudios de Falcón Records en Mc Allen Tx. y giras por los Estados Unidos.Espero que les agraden mis composiciones. La Música es libre y no tiene fronteras, mis temas están a su disposición. //////// I was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico, City of Mountains in the district of La Colonia Treviño, I like music from very young, “self-taught musician” and I received slight knowledge of music in the old School of Music of University of Nuevo Leon My teacher was Isidro Garcia, I formed my first group (trio) with my brother Gregorio Rangel and a good friend Reyes Hernandez,we begin play in celebrations, fairs and "serenatas", both now they teach, my brother teaching classic guitar in the University of Nuevo Leon. Later I form the quartet: my brothers Gregorio, Andres and me and ours first voices, great musicians: Silverio Soto, Juan M. Cruz, Prudencio Salinas and Raymundo Serna.Also we accompanied in its recordings to a good singer Robert Vargas like “Los Regiomontanos”: Gregorio “Goyo”, Andres and Alfredo (Los Hermanos Rangel) the group recorded in studies of Falcon Record in Mc Allen Tx. and tours by the United States.I hope that they like my compositions…Music is free… without borders… my songs are to its disposition… Excuse me!
