About Me

This is my page for horse racing activism / advocacy.I am a horse racing fan and have worked at the track. I love this sport and want to see positive changes made so that it can survive and thrive.I am working on organizing and motivating people who can help create the change that the horse racing industry desperately needs. I am approaching this from a different angle than other animal rights groups. I have some understanding about the industry. The changes I want are actually pretty logical:Banning steroids Limiting medications Banning raceday medications Standardized medications / levels in all states REAL penalties for trainers AND vets Lifetime bans for repeat offenders Possible prosecution for animal abuse for habitual offendersThe horses go where we lead them. They do what we say. It is our responsibility to care for them.
