GOAL: 5,000 Nets

Every African knows this is true because mosquitoes carry malaria—a tropical disease that kills over 750,000 children each year. That’s one child every 30 seconds. In Africa, mosquitoes make a huge difference in the lives of poor families and children. And it all starts with a tiny bite.
More people die from malaria than AIDS and it is COMPLETELY preventable and curable!
I believe that we can end malaria with an even bigger bite. I am trying to raise 5,000 mosquito nets to protect African children from malaria. Let’s be the generation that ends it. Let’s BITE BACK.

**It only costs $10 to donate a mosquito net to an African family. Not only do they get a net to protect them from the insects that spread this deadly disease, but parents also receive education on Malaria prevention and health care should their child become sick. Everyone can afford $10. Give up two lattes this week, eat at home one night instead of going out, or get with a group of friends and donate nets together. However you decide to it, just do it. Together we can stamp out this pointless disease!!!**
