What About Everything?

About Me

Not much to say – Love music and meeting new people. Adore my friends and family and would go to the ends of the earth for either.

My Interests

I enjoy camping, sitting by the fire, just about anything outdoors, music, people watching, golfing, playing poker, skiing, woodworking, paintball, football, spending quality time with friends and family.

I'd like to meet:

Fun, honest people who can laugh at me as well as themselves.

Music:

I probably have one of the most eclectic music collections ever. I listen to everything from hard core country to rap, from metal for folk, Classics to pop and R & B. Love the local scene here in dc with such bands as Yoko Says No, carbon leaf, That Guy and Lloyd Dobbler Effect just to name a few.

Movies:

I like all types of movies - well not a huge fan of horror films. A few of my favorites would be Office Space, Swingers, Boondock Saints, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, anything by Quentin Tarantino and I almost died laughing when I saw Wedding Crashers.Guess I can not leave out some classic favorites such as The Hustler, It's a Wonderful Life and Rebel Without a Cause. And Do not tell anyone, but I even enjoy most chick-flick romantic comedies. The movies The Notebook and Cutting Edge comes to mind. SHHHh!!!! Don't tell

Television:

I enjoy having the TV on in the background, but only watch a few shows. I can watch Will and Grace , Seinfeld, Trading Spaces, While you were out and CSI (any of them, but prefer Vegas) non-stop. Love Extreme Home Makeover. As long as no one will look at this I will also admit to watching Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives. Although, I would prefer to have the radio on listening to Opie and Anthony or The Sports Junkies.

Books:

Books??? Not quite sure what they are. Outside of required reading for college, I am not much of a reader. Although I can say I have recently read some Frank McCort and found it entertaining. The guy can just tell a story and make you feel like you are there.

Heroes:

My father is my biggest hero - Unfortunately I lost him to cancer in December of 1999. He was a sitcom dad - always there - always said and did what i needed at the time, whether it was what i wanted or not. In my younger years I did not always understand he was only doing what was best for me.There are so many reasons I can list but I will simply say he will always be my hero and I can only hope to leave the impressions on others lives that he has left on mine.

My Blog

Okay, why do you have to order every damn condiment you want on a burger, but they ALWAYS put mayo on it, even when you request no mayo?
