Reneé Robertson is a singer songwriter that originally hails from Newport News, VA. In pursuit of her dreams, she decided in January 2004 that she would move to Boston, MA, in order to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. It was there that she recorded her demo alongside of such amazing musicians as Jeremiah McConnico on Guitar, currently guitar player for JoJo, Sam Jun C. Lee on Bass, and Attis Jerrell Clopton on drums. Reneé has also had the pleasure of working with Matt Johnson on bass, Phil Griswold on drums, and James Williams, recording artist with the infamous Gary Burton's Next Generation band. Special Thanks to Yenny Tanandika, and Sohta Tsuchiya for their mixing and engineering on this demo.
In August of 2006 Reneé received a Bachelors Degree in Songwriting from Berklee. Since then, she has moved to Los Angeles, CA in further pursuit of her music career. Reneé is currently writing and settling in to this beautiful city that so many know and love.Also, special thanks to Francine Rollins, Marco Godoy and Nicholas Blount ..s, Evan Jackson, for vocal arrangements, and Regina Daniels, Carol Souki, Cynthia Sanchez, Raynoldo Rumph, Matthew Margallo, and Ieva Berberian for background vocals in recent gigs and in the studio.
