Welcome to the official unofficial Myspace celebrating one of the best bands to come out of the late 70's/early 80's: Oingo Boingo! They got their start in the 70's as the theatre troupe The Mystic Knights Of The Oingo Boingo, led by Richard Elfman! He later handed control to little brother Danny Elfman, who after preforming in and supplying the music to Richard's movie "Forbidden Zone" became known simply as Oingo Boingo! They went on to release 8 studio albums, with a handful of compilation albums, suppied track after track of material for movie soundtracks, and preformed an stunning Halloween show every year right up until their Farewell concert in 1995! This site is dedicated not just to the band, but to the rarest of songs! B-sides, demos, live & unreleased tracks can be found here, along with hardcore Oingo Boingo fans of yesterday and today!

-"Teenage Monster", "California Girls", & "Forbidden Zone" are taken from their 1980 concert at The Whiskey, which was broadcasted over the radio by LA's KROQ! ("Forbidden Zone" originally appears on their 1979 demo EP & the soundtrack to the 1980 film "Forbidden Zone")
-"Better Luck Next Time" is taken from the soundtrack to the 1982 movie "The Last American Virgin"!
-"Cruisin'" is taken from their EP "All The Pieces"!

And I do hope to turn this simpe Myspace shire into a massive fanbase for fans of Oingo Boingo, The Mystic Knights, and Danny Elfman to meet and share their thoughts and experiences! 1) This is NOT the real Oingo Boingo! They broke up in 1995! Though reading about other people's Boingo experiences is fun, there's no reason to address this page as legit! It's only a fanpage dedicated to a band most deserving!
2) Now that Myspace revamped it's music section, Oingo Boingo songs are now addable to your profile! So please don't request any songs unless they're rare, hard-to-find songs (the theme of this fanspace)!
