Deborah Pearl Biography

Deborah Pearl is a singer, songwriter, performer and pianist. She was born outside of Boston Massachusetts in 1990. Her love for music developed early playing the piano at the age of 4 and was inspired by watching her parents sing/perform Gospel music.

At the age of 11 her life took a different turn due to her parents’ separation. It was then she realized to use music as a channel to express her emotions so she started writing.

While performing at a 7th grade talent show, she was noticed by a Fine Arts Director. He was impressed by Deborah's voice and ability to communicate with the audience. He recommended her to the Handel & Hayden Society for the Vocal Apprenticeship Program. She attended there for six years studying music theory, conducting, choral and solo techniques.

While in high school Deborah auditioned for the high school soloist program at the New England Conservatory and was accepted. She furthered her knowledge in music performing opera and musical theater. She received the 2008 Candace MacMillen Achtmeyer Award.

Deborah is attending Berklee College Of Music double majoring in Composition and Vocal Performance. She is currently in the studio working with many different styles of producers.
