About Me

I am a twenty-four year old preachers kid from Michigan. My life has had its ups and downs but I think I've managed to make lemonade out of most of my life's lemons. Being a pk, I've spent most of my life in a glass bowl so the minute I stepped away from my hometown I guess you could say thats when I decided to sow my wild oats (which were probably not really that wild compared to most). Luckly I got through that without any major scaring. I love music and love to sing. My favorite thing to do is to just sit behind a piano and just sing with everything in me. I would love to be able to record and tour someday but for the time being God has me leading Worship, which is such an awesome job. I'm very blessed.

My Interests

First off I love anything that has to do with music. Singing it listening to it, creating it, recording it, you get the point. My second favorite thing, like every other woman, is to shop!!!

I'd like to meet:

The first person I'd like to meet is John Mayer. I just think he is so talented and down right cool.

The other person I'd like to meet is Marty Sampson. he is one of the worship leaders and songwriters from Hillsong Church in Australia. I love his songs and think he is just so cute. If I ever met him though I don't think I'd be able to talk to tell him how wonderful I really think he is.

Music:

I am a real fan of music. I like most all types, except for Country and most Rap. John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Jars of Clay and Lifehouse are a few of my favorites. I love good worship music like Hillsong United, Jason Morant, David Crowder Band, The Longing and Shane & Shane, Other favs: The Fray, Chris Daughtry, Warren Barfield, Kelly Clarkson, Flyleaf, STP, & Switchfoot. I like alternative girl singers like Tori Amos, Sia and Plumb as well.

Movies:

This is a really tough category for me because there are so many good movie out there and i always forget about the obvious ones. If I had to name my favorites off the top of my head I'll have to say The Notebook and Oceans Eleven. But then there is the comedies like Starsky & Hutch, Austin Powers, and Dumb & Dumber. Then there are my favorites from when I was a kid like Willy Wonka, The Sandlot and The Princess Bride. Like I said at the beginning, this is a tough.

Television:

My favorite show on television is Law & Order SVU. Chad and I can sit and watch 3 & 4 episodes in a row and never leave the couch.

Another show I'm really into right now is House. Other shows I like are Las Vegas and One Tree Hill.

I've also been hooked on The Young and The Restless since I was 10.

Books:

Extravegant Worship by Darlene Zschech and The Bible by God! I also read this daily devotional called "The Word For You Today" which is really cool because it always seems to talk about issues I am currently dealing with. Other than those mentioned, I don't read much else.

Heroes:

Both my parents and my grandparents. They are the most unbelievable people I know. Also Jesus and the Apostle Paul, they were both really radical guys.
