His journey following music trends has began in the end of nineties, when electronic music overwhelmed him fully.
Initially he was partying intensively, then he used the opportunity to stand behind a CD console and produced first sounds. But he much preferred vinyl records to compact discs. He could find on them his favorite music styles of techno, trance, shranz, acid.
Prospects of presenting music from vinyl records appeared soon and it helped him to discover and understand that music is a magic…The real story with gramophones he started in 2001. He chose then the nickname of Coby Laren and uses it by now, getting to wider and wider group of people who recognize good sounds and good music taste.Styles of music have changed within years. At present Daniel sticks to progressive and electro house, tribal and tech trance which are his preferred styles. He spends long hours in vinylshops choosing the records carefully. Daniel wants every record to be different and to create with other ones sets of unique climat.
He doesn’t set limits on sounds he creates as he doesn’t want to be classified as playing one kind of electronic music.
By his dynamic sets, full of deep technical sounds combined with melodious elements, Daniel wants to share his interpretation and incredible energy.His sets were played by RMF MAXXX, Houseradio, Radiostacja, radiomarconi and as a Pure collective by asradio.Coby is developing himself all the time and he strives for mixing in a different way comparing to others : non-commercially but thrilling. This let him create his own style of progressive house with a touch of electro sounds.He is not afraid of using modern technical solutions as – in his opinion – it helps to have more fun with music and to add very own tones to it.
What he appreciates in music is its timelessness and energy it creates in people.He doesn’t like to write a lot about himself claiming he is nobody great to create his biography. His presentation of style and music are his visit card. When he plays he gets into very good contact with parting people. It is possible thanks to his spontaneous personality and devotion to music.
