Artic is the new, solo, musical project of Christian Ruiz, a Barcelonian musician known for having formed part of the group, TresTristesTigres; with which has published an album for Satelite K and three 12†for the following labels: Kône Records, Dona-li and Metalik. His sound is deep, sophisticated and crystalline, marked by a strong influence of electronic rhythms and pop music. Currently, he is releasing "Empà tic", an EP scheduled to be released in 2009 by his own label, Metalik Muzik.
