..First let me say that I want you to stay here at this site long enough to (hopefully) enjoy the music. When I need a little "pick me up", this music is what I "crank up".................I am using this forum to let all of my current friends and future friends to know that we may not always agree on everything, but the same can be said about my parents and me. That does not mean that I don't still love them or that I discount their opinions. Life is to short for me to "dislike" someone just because they don't see life through the same looking glass. I hope that all that read these thoughts know that I am a faithful friend even if you know that we don't always agree. I have enough insight to know that we can't know everything and I am humble enough to say when I am wrong. I base my positions and beliefs on facts, plain and simple. However if there are facts that I may have over looked (I'm not perfect) please feel free to point them out to me. With that being said, if you think that my thoughts are right or wrong on any subject that means something to you personally, let me know that as well. Who knows, you may be able to enlighten me! I am always searching for more knowledge and if you know something that you think that I may not know about, share it with me!....................................... ......................Now back to just me. I love music and support all the great music and musicians that come out of my home town Memphis. I started to play guitar at the age of 11 and took guitar lessons at Central Academy of Music on Jackson Ave. My first guitar teacher was Brad Webb who plays with the blues man Blind Mississippi Morris now. My first time to work with and get to know professional musicians were the years that I spent working at Strings and Things and the untold late night hours spent at the Columbia/Records Lyn-Lou Recording Studio here in Memphis. I worked for a short time after that as a guitar tech/roadie for Banda which included my friends Dana Pannell, Greg Moore, Tony Santucci, Ricky(Rex Mule)Leach, Art Johnson, Alan(Pokey Joe)Cox and of course Steve Dunn. Years later I put in several years working for the I.A.T.SE. local 69 as a Stagehand and Grip. I have operated my own business, worked as a manager for a Sporting Goods store, I've been an Audit Supervisor for the Nation's largest Inventory Audit Firm and I have worked as a Market Analyst for the Nation's largest Hardware distributer. In other words, I'm good with numbers! I love to listen to all types of music but my heart belongs to rock, R&B, folk and country music from the era of my youth. I also love my heritage and the things this country as been able to provide my family. Pretty women are my weakness, and cooking is a passion for me, but at my age now, either of those could be interchanged. I never forget that at best, we make guesses about others, based on intuition derived from past experience. Reason & experiment should be our Egis against ignorance and futility.
