WADADA OUTLAW SOUND is one of the oldest Soundsystem in GermanyThe Sound was founded in 1994, in Koblenz Germany by Killya.1995 Killya fly for the first time to Jamaica and cut the first Dubplates for the SoundOver the years Wadada played alongside with STONE LOVE, KILLAMANJARO, DAVID RODIGAN, METRO MEDIA, SENTINEL, SUPERSONIC, CONCRETE JUNGLE, TOP FRANKIN, POW POW, BARNEY MILLAH etc. 2001 WADADA did played at first official German Dubplate Sound Clash „ KILL OR BE KILLED“ in Cologne with Supersonic, Sentinel and Budadub. After the clash WADADA take familybreak and just played just for one time a month in Koblenz.
After Killya move back to his hometown Cologne 2005 he decide 2006 to bring back Wadada on the road again. In the same year Killya link up with Backra, who was the MC and founder from POW POW MOVEMENT. for over 15 years.He starts playing reggaemusic in 1991
Backra take his long expirience in Soundsystem work from playing all over the world.Just to mention a few places where Backra played allready: New York, Washington, Toronto, Jamaica, Gambia and all over Europe as well.
From the time Backra and Killya meet they start to cut DUBPLATES for WADADA again. So right now Wadada have a Dubbox wich goes back way in the 90..s.
Backra and Killya have the same thinking if playing a Sound.They dont want to be a clash sound,they want to bring back the nicness in the Dancehall wich is missing since a couple of years.
Right now WADADA is specialized in playing LOVERS ROCK and the good old 90..s Dancehall, new tunes will be played too,as well.
We dont say we are the best Sound but we are the Sound wich is full a Vibes in a different way
