I can't lump myself into one category. One day I am in cowboy boots, looking at cows. The next day I am listening to the Rat Pack with a vintage hat on. Then the day after that I am in a Doors shirt looking for a tree to hug. So, I guess I am a multitude of things wrapped into one person. I am madly in love with my husband Jason, and we had our first son James last Christmas. My son is the cutest thing in the world, and he is already smarter than most people. My husband is like an other version of me, only he wears camo a lot and likes big trucks with loud pipes. I guess it is true that opposites attract. But I love him so much. I enjoy being from the South. I recently took a craving to fishing. I love watermelons, fried chicken, football, Ole Miss and beer. I love to mix my Coke with Crown. But mostly, I love driving through the country with that sweet smell lingering in the breeze. It makes you feel like you don't have work the next day. But then again..you always do. I am a reporter, and I am a word junkie. I read anything from cookie boxes to comic books. I envisioned the press world to be full of cigarette smoke and tough souls with harsh words of wisdom. I still got the tough ones on my back just with no smokes. I put the things down, but I still miss the days of Joe Camel and sweet menthols. I guess that is it. I am hard to lump into one myspace box. But at least I tried.
