The Waltons...

About Me

Emerging from Bucks County, PA, The Waltons are hybrid of Acoustic and Rock, full of sweet melodies, strong sultry vocals and beautiful lyrics. Influenced by a broad range of sounds including Rock, Blues, Jam, Pop, Acoustic and Jazz, The Waltons have an ability to rock loud over crowds or play softly and intimately, engaging their audience.Currently working on a new album at Sound of Music Studios, Richmond, VA (Counting Crows, Carbon Leaf, Black Crows, Joan Osborne) with talented musician, frontman, producer David Lowery (Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven) and Engineer John Morand, as well as their hometown studio, Sweet Creek Studios with engineer/producer John Fachet, The Waltons are preparing to release a work of true dedication, creatitivity and inspiration that will appeal to a broad range of audiences. The album is due to be released Summer 2008 and The Waltons are focused on making it a true work of collaboration and strength in music.Lead singer Jen Walton has been compared to Stevie Nicks and Natalie Merchant. She offers a sultry, unique, organic sound combined with strong songwriting ability; Her brother, Evan, offers the dynamic guitar sound that drives each song home as well as providing his own strength with his songwriting. In addition, Jared Schulberger delights with Rhthym and Slide Guitar and drummer Tim Stevens creates the percussion that can take the band from intimate to full strength. Newest member, Joe Bonner, is truly a commendable talent on the keys, adding color to every song. With many years of experience, these musicians create a hybrid of talent and sound. The Waltons have performed at noted clubs such as the TLA (Theater of Living Arts in Philadelphia), the Khyber, Grape Street Pub, Pontiac Grille, North Star Bar, The Moose, Puck, Sabato, Bobby Simone's, Bucks County Coffee, First Fridays as well as Festivals and Colleges in the tri-state area including PA, NY and NJ. All ears welcome! The Waltons are not only musically talented, but they make you feel part of the family...Enjoy the music!
