Sharing my faith... spending time with my wife and kids... hanging out with my students & friends.... Trying to stay in some kind of healthy physical condition... studying everything from Autism to scripture and just keeping up with my family!
Besides the obvious... Jesus, Apostle Paul, Elvis, okay not Elvis. I'd like to meet President Bush, CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, Stephen Curtis Chapman and Rush Limbaugh. I'd also like to meet Tony Dungee and Lovie Smith!
A little of everything (I'm even beginning to appreciate some Country) but mostly worship stuff. Occasionally I go back "old school" with a little Rush or some other vintage band. But I really don't sit around and listen to much music. If I have time to listen to something it's usually news, Talk Radio, or some good Bible Teaching.
Almost anything Sci-Fi or action (Star Wars, LOTR).... I am really partial to the old stuff! Especially the classic westerns and war movies. Basically I just like a good movie! I want to see "Thr3e", "Facing the Giants", "The Last Sin-Eater", and "Amazing Grace"
Basically whatever I can catch when the MOXIE isn't being used on one TV and the DDR isn't on the other! And when I'm not using the PS2.If you can keep a secret I listen to a lot of Talk Radio & really good Bible teaching on the radio or Podcasts!! Now I guess that makes me officially an old geezer!!
The Bible, duh! Seriously, I am reading Ecclesiates and other wisdom literature (pretty cool stuff, Jack Kerouac got nothing on Solomon)! I just read all of the Narnia series and CS Lewis is awesome. I'll keep reading and re-reading CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien!! Actually I love to read alot and I read a wide variety of stuff.I'm currently working thru George Barna's REVOLTION and Robert Coleman's THE MASTER PLAN OF EVANGELISM. I recommend them both, for different reasons.
It's so obvious but it's true... Jesus Christ! Also the leaders of the early first century church. Today it would be George W. Bush, Mel Gibson, Rush Limbaugh... and Danny Walls!
