The Faculty. Alex Ferreira (Al Kyza) 22 and Jonathan Maldonado (J Merk) 21 Raised in Hudson County New Jersey, are one of the most acclaimed unsigned (not for long) collectives in the tri-state area, with appearances in legendary spanish hip hop artist Mexicano 777 in his 2006 album "Pa' La Kalle" and collabos with artists like Arcangel, De La Ghetto, Kastro, and producer Develop, these young guys have made themselves one of the hottest duos the east coast has to offer, both their skills together has combined to make what we call the future of hip hop. Combining the street smarts of the rap culture and the swager of reggaeton influences and it mixes to provide good music for a new generation. Both meeting in 1996, the duo has released various mixtapes, the lastest of them being the "Real Real link" series with young phenom Fermin Ferreira (Firm Biz), which together has sold more than 7,000 units, an unprecedented number for a independent mixtape in The State of New Jersey. Together with the sound of the air force team productions (Coach/Phisykz/Kyza), and now teamed up with Poke Ent. and Massacre Musical Inc., they're ready to take over everything they have in sight.
