I began writing songs when I was little. I'd go outside and make up songs about the birds and squirrels running around...I never wrote them down though. So, there I was, a freshman in college. While walking out of the most boring history class ever, I was approached by this really cute guy, Matt. He said he had seen me in the theatre and music building and asked if I wrote songs. I repeat, he was cute. Did I have any songs written?... Okay, no, but I felt like I totally could! So clearly I said, Uh, yeah! (CRAP!) He asked if he could come over and write songs (haha...man I was naive) I ran home and wrote down my first real song. I loved it! Granted the song was a piece of crap, but I loved it. Matt did end up coming over and ended up wanting a little more than songwriting. He left. Moral of the story - Thanks, Matt, for being an ass and for starting my career.I love being an actress and singer. It is the best job in the world! My motto is always persue your dreams. If you love something enough, it is worth all the pain and hard work.
