I live in China, and I teach college students about the horror and joy that is being a native English speaker.
I like German and books and video games and the ocean and tea and chips cooked in sunflower oil. I believe that compassion is something we all have inside of us, but that has to be fought for. I hope that this world is changing for the better, even if I never see it happening. I want to love without self, to live without debt, to desire without dread.
