My name is Jools. Im originally from MN... but i'm now in the 602. I have been following Prince's life, career, and all the rest for 26 years now. I have spent MANY, MANY days, hours, weeks, YEARS... LITERALLY following Prince and his crew throughout the years. Frequenting his local favorite haunts, attending EVERY show at Paisley Park, and persuading his people to LET ME IN!! Although, I've never had the pleasure of actually meeting him... I've learned enough about him from true media sources, friends and associates, and living is his hometown, I couldn't have picked a better role model to follow.
Many people automatically think PURPLE RAIN when you say PRINCE, not realizing how influencial and evolving he has been over the past 20 + years beyond Purple Rain.
Whether it's contributing to soundtracks, entertaining crowds of 10's of thousands of people, or setting new standard in the industry of music, recording and retail, Prince will continue to lead the way in innovation and creation in the music industry as well as pop culture until the end of time.
It must be PAINFUL to be that creative.
