Sup everybody. This is my page. Feel free to roam around but don't get too personal, y'hear? What to say about me... well, I'm young, I'm ambitious and I'm trying to live life to the full. I have a strong social conscience and a desire to make positive changes. It's about action not words. This is what motivates me. I am definitely not here to promote any musical interest or to meet members of the opposite sex. I have a fantastic partner who takes care of ALL my needs (so no approaches thank you). I believe in blood ties, I'm fiercely loyal and defensive of those I choose to be close to. Like any girl worth her Jimmy Choo's, I enjoy clothes and fashion and shopping for shopping's sake. I love being around beautiful people in bars or restaurants, that sort of thing. I like people who challenge the way things are or themselves, and those who are not prepared to settle for second best no matter how varied their goals are. I'm very competitive and when I put my mind to something, I usually succeed (especially if it involves spending money, which, like most girls, I am also very good at (tho I like to make it too, there aint nothing better (worse) than a competitive woman). In many ways I am a typical Virgo... Definitely a perfectionist and a true analyst by nature, I am my own worst critic, which pushes me to achieve in life. I don't know about modesty (you have 2b your own publicist) but I can be shy and reserved; a character trait that, I have been told, can make me seem aloof to those that don't know me well... I don't like to be the centre of attention (trust me), prefering to take a comfortable back seat where I can get a clear view of my surroundings and begin my analysis. I'm a self confessed deep thinker, the downside of which means I can spend too much time worrying about pointless things... or people. True to my sign, I can be obsessively health conscious... with a keen interest in alternative health and holistic therapies... natural is always best. However, I DO have an incurable chocolate addiction and a tendency for late night junk food... these must be the attributes of my moon sign!?
It's one of my personal goals to travel as I am increasingly jealous of people with glamourous holiday and gap year pics on their MySpace!! I think travelling strengthens the soul . I love experiencing new things, especially new food!! As you can see, I have currently only conquerred 4% of the globe... This is definitley something I'll enjoy working on!!
I realise my book list makes me come across as a bit of a bookworm but in the words of August Hare: "reading is to the mind what exercize is to the body," 'Tis true, I am most happy curled up in bed with a good book. Reading is escapism for me whilst on the soul destroying tube. I read anything really, though lately I've been trying to broaden my horizons with non-Western authors... I think you should too. I love to engage my mind in inspirational literature or discussions... Here are few more words of wisdom from the wise:
