About Me

Just graduated from Indiana University-- officially done being a student. But now it is time to become a teacher, so I am back in Chicago doing administrative work at a day camp while I look for a teaching job! I am beyond ready to begin this next phase in my life, entering the real world and living life to the fullest!Okay, so where did the summer go? Camp was phenomenal and I miss it dearly. But now I get to start my new job! So I'm not a teacher yet but ya gotta start somewhere, and what do you have to lose? I'm a second grade instructional aide in an elementary school in the burbs and I love it already! What's not to love about spending each and every day with seven year olds? They're fabulous! :) I am also teaching dance classes on the side-- for now, tap and ballet to the little ones! It's really great returning to one of my oldest passions(dance), and combine it with another passion(teaching)! So what else about me? Hmm... I love to laugh, cry, sing(at the top of my lungs--definitely not good at it), play, read(only when its one of those books that you find yourself staying up until 5 in the morning because you can't put it down), chew gum, dance(as if nobody's watching), blush, play with babies, kiss, LISTEN, make people happy, make a difference in people's lives, love, curl up in a blanket, do things that just feel like home, drink wine, watch movies(i have my own blockbuster), sleep next to someone, wake up next to someone, color-coordinate, procrastinate, always have a candle burning, always have to smell exceptionally delicious(me and my surroundings), do anything that makes myself and others laugh, write lists, take an excessive amount of pictures, eat an excessive amount of food that is nowhere near healthy, drink an excessive amount of diet coke, send an excessive amount of text messages, have entire conversations based on movie lines and tv quotes, did i mention laugh?, shop(lately it's mostly purses and t-shirts, but i'm a sucker for anything), go to concerts, and surround myself with my family and my friends--as I would not be the person i am today without them! ;) Love you all! I love everything about the rain and I will never eat sushi. I am quite possibly the most anxious person I know, but usually in anticipation. I am not good at letting go and I am not good with a cell phone. As much as I love them, I just think you shouldn't be expected to answer them all the time. I love music and I love beautiful things. I dislike bugs, basements, garages and the dark when I'm alone, the smell of wind, the smell of fish, the sound of silverware scraping the plate, a light bulb being screwed in, anything touching a chalk board, and other things of that nature, hypocrites, going to sleep angry or upset, not having closure, broken promises, death, being disappointed, and there might be more but I won't dwell on them... Piece of advice? If you ever need a distraction, being around children can help you forget about your worries... They can take your mind off of anything! I swear, it works-- from the hugs they give to the things that you wouldn't believe come out of their little mouths! I don't think people realize what is was like to be that young, carefree, and impressionable, and we take for granted the things we learned along the way... Another piece of advice? Try a chocolate-covered gummy bear. They're AMAZING! ;)"The best things in life aren't things.""Let the rain fall, I don't care. I'm yours and suddenly you're mine. And it's brighter than sunshine...""I will go in this way, and find my own way out...""Never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about.""Maybe it's safe not invading your space but I'd drive 50 states if you want me to...""A promise is a promise, in my eyes-- can't say you're gonna just to compromise.""If you hold on tight to what you think is your thing you might find you're missing all the rest." love layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com love / music / movies / frazy Hot Free Layouts
