Macho Grande

About Me

Macho Grande was formed sometime in June of '08 when singer/guitarist/songwriter Kelli Johnson called bassist Tom Hunting to see about starting a trio. To make a short story even shorter, Kelli got a hold of drummer Ken Rider, and they went to work on Kelli's original tunes and some re-vamped blues classics by Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, etc. Ken moved away and Jon Carlin stepped in. If you like funky, rockin' blues with a lot of soul, check us out.

Like that child would run away one day, work for a while in the adult industry, get disillusioned and then become - "MACHO GRANDE"
