About Me

In a nutshell, as a small child I had a speech impediment that made all of my R's sound like W's. I would also only eat my food cold, even soup. I enjoy grocery shopping. In fact, my favorite things are free food samples and when a song I love comes over the grocery store radio. I think that everyone needs a theme song and that everyone should be given free rolls of toilet paper when they get their taxes back. I like sweeping my floor but I hate doing the dishes. I love phrases of speech like "painfully shy", "disarmingly beautiful" and the word "threadbare". I think small glasses, uniforms, humor, passion and intelligence are sexy but hate arrogance, conceit, and apathy. As well, I'm a great gatherer of firewood, maker of bonfires, jumper of rope and teller of bad jokes. Basically, I see every day as a "Choose Your Own Adventure" story and try to steer clear from any theme park or packaged experience in life. Joie pendant la vie mes amis! I've spent parts of my life living in Ohio, Georgia, Maine, and Australia and now I've finally made it to Portland Oregon!!! I draw pictures all day (graphic design), ride my bike and spend my time soaking up the mountains, ocean, good food, good coffee, good beer, good politics, good music, good art and amazingly... good people who probably recycle!!! Next on the travel schedule: trying to make it to Argentina, Chile, Antarctica and Kilimanjaro before their respective glaciers melt.

Anyone else who has a general disdain for ketchup with as much enthusiasm as me. Also, if youâ€™re a reality tv junky, need not apply. I would have nothing to talk to you about. That would be quite boring, slightly awkward and I would spend most of my time staring at the clouds. Then, I would probably start talking about the weather, perhaps the jet stream, El Nino or my favorite pair of shoes. You might get bored, but at least you'd be highly and randomly informed. (DISCLAIMER: I have a fair amount of friends with slight ketchup addictions and I don't hold that against them. I celebrate diversity in my condiments.)
