About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4******************************************************** **** Critics have suggested that Halloween and its slasher film successors may encourage sadism and misogyny. Others have suggested the film is a social critique of the immorality of young people in 1970s America, pointing out that many of Myers' victims are sexually promiscuous and substance abusers, while the lone heroine is depicted as chaste and innocent. While Carpenter dismisses these analyses, the perceived parallel between the characters' moral strengths and their likelihood of surviving to the film's conclusion has nevertheless become a standard slasher movie trope. ************************************************************ The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a vile piece of sick crap...It is a film with literally nothing to recommend it: nothing but a hysterically paced slapdash , imbecile concoctions of cannibalism, voodoo, astrology, sundry hippie-esque cults, and unrelenting sadistic violence as extreme and hideous as a complete lack of imagination can possibly make it. ************************************************************ I Spit On Your Grave is an utterly reprehensible motion picture with shockingly misplaced values. It seems to take more joy in presenting its heroine's degradation than her victory. She is repeatedly raped and tortured. When the tables finally turn, she proves to be just as vicious as her attackers. The scene where she robs a man of his offending 'weapon' is one of the most appalling moments in cinema history. This is beyond a doubt, one of the most tasteless, irresponsible, and disturbing movies ever made. ************************************************************ The centerpiece of The Devil's Rejects is a desensitizing torture, humiliation and murder sequence that alone should have mandated an NC-17 rating for the movie. The Firefly gore hounds kidnap a close-knit traveling country music band at a motel and set about sexually humiliating the bandleader's wife and friend in an episode of torture that is utterly reprehensible. The sequence is made all the more abject when the sole surviving victim is discovered, wearing a mask made from a human face, by a motel chambermaid. The shocking sudden scene that follows delivers one of the most grisly and unnecessarily disgusting visuals in cinema.

"Thriller" came out in 1982. The video aired in 1983 and I was born in 1984. I was probably about 7 or 8 when I when I first saw it, so it already withstood the test of time before I even laid eyes on...

Her dialogue overlaps her own dialogue

I feel really bad for people who don't have a relationship as strong as mine and Adam's. We're best friends. I would rather hang out with Adam than almost anyone else. Sometimes people will invite me ...

Don't forget to kill Philip!

I've recently been going to the movies alone. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy a well acompanied cinematic adventure as much as anyone, but there's something liberating about going b...

He had pointy canine teeth. Like a wolf.

"Only then did he look up, and I caught sight of his eyes. They were deep-set, so much so that they almost appeared in a shadow, a watery version of his hair color, like liquid leather. And they were ...

If your intentions are pure, I'm seeking a friend for the end of the world

I saw a guy get out of his car today and go all the way around to open the door for his girlfriend. She didn't act like it was a big deal, so he must do it all the time. He probably opens the door for...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you.

"She actually had her eye on someone else that: Daniel Miller, a Senior, a Drama major, only a little gay, with blond hair, a great body and these amazing gray eyes, but he was seeing this beautiful F...

Don't forget to let your life rot you inside out

Last night was terrible and great. Mostly great.  Heather Hannoura signed a piece of her art for me and not you.  There was some serious making fun of people, and I got to see Alkaline Trio....
