Season is here, sigh.

About Me

Moved to Florida last August. It's almost been a year & I'm still undecided if I want to stay. I am really close to the beach which makes me happy, I just need to get out there more. There's a dog beach which is great, but I have to avoid it & some of you know why. ;) I had a job as a wine rep for a small importer/distributor of wines that most people have never heard of as they are boutique wines, small productions.
I love to swim, lakes, oceans, pools, ponds, rivers, whatever has water. I HATE cold weather, although now that I don't have a fall I kinda miss it. And I miss UT football I am ashamed to admit. I miss my friends that I don't get to see much anymore...
I like gnomes. I love useless trivia. I have won many a game of trivial pursuit with such information. I love funny people, people who can make me laugh make me happy. I love to read, I can honestly say I took several literature classes in college (and high school) to read books I wouldn't have read on my own. I love red wine & am finding some whites I like. I have the happiest puppy in the world who waits by the door for me to come home.
I think most people make their minds up about me too early. Ha. I am different than most people think I am; I tend to not let people understand me until I know you. Kinda sucks, but that's me, I've learned that through much heartache & soul-searching.
AND, by the way! I don't smoke anymore, despite what any picture may say. It's old. I have become a bit of a smoke nazi now, something I never would have believed. Didn't mean to quit, just did.
