VARVARA ANASTASIJEVIC was born on 12nd february 1981 in Nis, Serbia.
At the age of 6, she convinces her parents that she wants to learn how to play the piano and ends up in Music School “Dr.Vojislav Vuckovic†in Nis, where she studies the piano until 1994. She starts occasionally singing in public.
Varvara has performed a large number of club gigs all over Serbia and so was able to promote her own style to people who had a chance to see her alive.
She has worked with many musicians varying from one style to another, finally finding herself in more jazzy tunes.During the Nato bombing of Serbia she has experienced something completely different but also made her childhood dream come true and that was playing of trombone.
Currently she..s preparing her very last exam at the Music academy of Nis at the piano department.
Also she would like to move to Portugal and keep her music studies there and learn more of jazz, bossa nova and latino style.
