AITW or Acid In The Woods is born in the woods of Maria Ter Heide :), somewhere in Antwerp. There was a small wooden hut where we always came together, it was always very cosy there. We had everything we need: a fireplace for when it was too cold, great coaches, much drinks, and a confectioner who provides us 'curryrollekes en warme koffiekoeken' in the night when we where hungry. And most of all we had our friends and our music over there, and no one would disturb us, we were free men ;) free from society.Everyone there was really addicted to music... most of us where also artists... So after a few years there was our first AITW party with a bigger sound (in the little hut :)). :) It was a small party which no one would ever forget (the date was 06-07-2006).A few months later we gave our first bigger party to celebrate SoLitH's birthday, also a big succes... After that we celebrated Wez birthday in el paso (a cowboyvillage in wuustwezel) together with Nitrogen. It was an awesome party with lots of people.The cowboys were very satisfied about us and because they said the village will be demolished in a few months we asked to do another party in their village before it was to late.Nitrogen was again in company and we celebrated Kryll's birthday :).After that party we were very unlucky with finding good locations... After a cancelled date in a fort in wommelgem we did another party at buynderdijck for Brewy's (Bizar) Birthday.In november we planned our first big free party (now we had enough money to do that) in a squaded village. It would be a massive party outside at veryvery great location... Everything was going fine till the day before... the cops had entered the village for other reasons and the habitants of the squaded village couldn't permit the party for there own insurance...It was very depressing for all of us cause we spended very much time and work in it. After that we seek for other squads and fields but there was always something with it...Now... eventually in june... we stand up again and booked 'the steeple' at waregem for 20 september where we invited zmk for a massive party.Our plan is to get our first AITW albums and hooded sweaters ready TO SUPPORT OUR SOUNDSYSTEM!!!!! ;)BTW there were a lot of changes last year... because SoLitH, Wez, Brewy and Pittel decided together to go to the city we don't come together in the cottage anymore... because our current house is better (or let us say different), and it's too far from the holy forest :). So everyone comes together at our new home at this time...And a funny thing is... after a few months SoLitH and Wez came in the acidwoods :) again and other guys (+- 15 years old :) that's about the same age it all started by some of us) had squaded the hut :) painted it, renewed, isolated it...
We came into the cottage and they woke up :) still a littlebit drunk and sleepy :).
The story has started again from the begining :) there is a new generation that would continue the legend of the holy hut :) (btw The hut is now 37 years old, and again as new).
