My name is Matthew orlandini. I Love politics and music, yes i know that is a very strange mix. I represent a political orientation that is less respected here in the United States. I am a democratic socialist. In my well thought out opinion; everything that is wrong with the world is mainly to blame with capitalism, especially here in the United States. we tend to profiteer everything; healthcare, Education, energy, even war. what happened to those good old values? Why is everybody so obsessed with money? our music, pop culture, our businesses. Everything is based on money. Now in terms of business I know profit is important, but when companies put out a low quality or sometimes hazardous product just to increase profit; that is when you know we have lost our good principals. when songs called "Get Rich or Die trying" become a smash hit, and a pop cultural icon; at that point you realize something is fucked up.It has taking me 16 years to get to this point. I see the world for what it really is. You say God has a master plan and everything happens for a reason, but when you really sit down and look at what the world has become, you really start to think. I have come to a rather harsh conclusion to most. There really isn't anything superior out there. we just go through everyday wondering when things will start to make sense or get better, and we would like to believe some greater power has a plan to solve our problems. but in reality all there is, is our hopes and dreams that someday things will change. The only way things will change, is if we stand up and work on it. Progress is the most innovating fruit of our labor. If we simply progress and move on, and learn from our mistakes and work on fixing them; the world will become a much better place by the time we depart...
