Kristi Furrowh "The Boughetto Princess"

Born January 21st 1983 Kristi Furrowh always had talent...You can ask anyone who has known her and they always would know Kristi to be in the talent shows, in the school choir, or on stage performing in plays. No matter what it was if it had to do with music and the arts Kristi was doing it. Kristi has been doing music since she was twelve years old and wrote her first poem at the age of nine. "I knew that when I wrote my first poem and the way it made me feel that I would be a writer for the rest of my life". Kristi started rapping in highschool when she was 14 years old. " I used to hang out with the guys a lot so i would be in the back of the class beating on the desk and jumping in the cypher, I would get a good response so I kept on doing it. I figured hell you write songs and sing them why not rap". Although music was first in Kristi's life she wanted to drop out of school and pursue a singing career with her friends at the time. Kristi's mother wouldn't allow it so when all the other kids were dropping out to do music Kristi stayed on track. "I hated my mother for a long time for not letting me go into the studio and record a demo. I had the chance to do it and the people behind me but she wouldn't let me. Little did I know that it was a reason for that and I am better off that she didn't allow that". Kristi thought her dreams were crushed and then went on to live a life of a rebellious child. She skipped school and didn't put her full potential foward at all but it was her writing and love for english that allowed her to graduate on time. "I failed every subject in ninth grade except for English, I got a B I would have gotten an A but I missed too many classes". At that time Kristi knew that writing was in her blood and she was destined to do it regardless of how it came about and what form it showed up in. She began writing stories, screenplays, songs, raps, poems, anything that had to do with writing Kristi was on it. Eventually Kristi hooked up with Chill and Rocc who were starting up a magazine and she started writing for them. The magazine is now cool touch promotions and Kristi is the Editor in Cheif. She went from writing all of the content to now writing only the cover artists. As the company grew the staff became larger and that led Kristi to believe that if you start out with something in the beggining and grow with it...you grow too..All the while Kristi was writing for the magazine and website she was dating an upcoming songwriter and producer by the name of Majesty in Atlanta. He was just learning the tricks of the trade and Kristi was right alongside him learning too. They wrote songs together and made hits while he was teaching himself how to use the Triton Keyboard and make beats as well as the Protools system to record himself, Kristi was right there and he showed her everything about it. Majesty was a blessing when it came to Kristi's musical growth because he taught and showed her the other side of music and how to not just be an artist but to know how to do it all. Kristi went through about 6 years of trail and error with him and has progressed into her own style of sing/rap. While Kristi was doing this as well she was in school majoring in Journalism and Public Relations. She already has a few clients under her belt. Aretha Hill Songtress from L.A., D.J. Yung World Seasoned Veteran from Buffalo NewYork, and an upcoming record label called Emptyhand Strayshot out of Kristi's home town of Gary Indiana.
