Shivani Ray Kadakia is a meditation and spirituality teacher, healer, and performer raised in an Eastern meditation tradition derived from Kashmir Shaivism and classical yoga. Shivani was one of the founding directors of UC Berkeley's acclaimed "Meditation, Mysticism, and the Mind" class which taught the practice of meditation and spiritual philosophy to over 500 students a year, and has since taught meditation at venues that range from corporate offices to hospitals. Shivani also leads retreats and workshops on personal healing, shamanism, energywork, and intuitive living, and has a private healing practice. She has a J.D. from USC Law School and a B.A. in Rhetoric and minors in Theater, Business, and South Asian Studies from UC Berkeley.
