I am the [CEO] of Audio Plague
My company offers "Promotion Evolved" to up and coming artists. We offer magazine reviews, music videos, album covers aswell as graphics art. We can even build you your own website as well as a custom flash myspace. I have contracted a team of promoters and marketers who work together to make this company run. If you need myspace exposure, we can get you in the top artists. If you want to be heard on the radio we submit your single into a "DJ Pool". Audio Plague is the first of its kind and is destined to be a multi-million dollar enterprise by 2009
My name is Jonny Townsend.
Full time [CEO].
Part time [party animal].
I don't classify myself as anything except myself.
If you were to try to label me, it would be impossible.
I am the oldest 20 year old I know.
I'm living in San Antonio, Texas.
I Graduated from Marshall High Skewl.
I then went to Northwest Vista for a while.
I decided, I don't fall under any category.
I learned what I needed to know through experiences.
I went on to start a company called "Audio Plague".
My company now employs as well as serves the masses.
I am a CEO but at the same time, never just one thing.
Behind the scenes for years I have been into music.
My best friend and I make up "Disconnect the Dots".
"DtD" was officially started March 11, 2008.
Our success surprised everyone and we now have
well over a million song plays on our music.
I know that as each day passes, my company and
my band expands its reach further and further.
Most people seldom think about there dreams and
turning them into realities. I however spend hours out of
every day visualizing myself at the level of success I strive
for. Every single day is a struggle to do larger than life things
and cope with the larger than life problems that comes with this
struggle. I am not your 9 to 5 employee. I would rather be broke
and robbing for my meals than be a slave to a clock. I am not
starving however, and you will never see me punch in
the clock, ever.
There is a reason behind all this. If your dreams are
actually achievable, and you dedicate your entire
existence to them, nothing can stop you from making
them a reality. I am counting on that at least...
Like everyone one else, I have always been searching
for the answer to why I was put on this earth and what I
Was destined to accomplish. Unlike everyone else I
think I will actually find the answer to that question.
There is really a million things I could say to describe
who I am and what I believe in...but....
Your best bet is to just get to know me.
No matter what happens, as long as I'm breathin
I keep my head up like my nose was bleedin
^^ Realest shit I ever wrote ^^
Disconnect the Dots was officially created on March 11, 2008. I Call it a band but technically we are a "rap group". Due to the popularity of our personal lives, our band blew up locally and is said to be one of the fastest upcoming bands in San Antonio. Between our knowledge of rap, and skills with writing we have been able to build a fairly large fan-base here in the countdown city.
J-Town (Jonny Townsend)
A-Wizzy (Aaron Yarnes)
There are only 2 of us, so this would be a rap duo.
I am using my company to fund the expenses of getting this group off the ground. Through my company we have been able to meet and talk with hundreds of rappers and we have a respectable rap star roster for our upcoming album "Texas Thoed".
My company also happens to be a promotional company designed for helping artists, so we are using it to create music videos and all the other promo stuff that comes with trying to get on a national level.
We are attempting to do something that has never been done. Our plan is to release an album entirely unsigned. All other, artists in history to release an album have been either "Indie" or "Major" meaning they are on a record label. We are personally funding the entire project of releasing an album, without going to any labels for help. Normally doing, this would be impossible because without the help of the label you can't get your CD in stores. My company actually has an A&R for Select-o-hits (target / best buy) working for us. So with distribution taken care of I move on to the fact that it costs thousands of dollars for the beats to make rap songs. Record labels hire producers for there artists or they pay for the instrumentals. This is another reason why it is almost impossible to release an album unsigned. I have this problem taken care of because the manager of my band is also 3-6 Mafias previous manager and producer and he has agreed to give us 18 instrumentals to use for our album in exchange for a % of the revenue. Disconnect the Dots is on it's way to going down in history for blowing up completely unsigned.
Or we sure do hope so anyway!
