Jordin Brianna Sparks was born on December 22,1989 to Jodi Weidman and Phillipi Sparks.She has a younger brother PJ,who plays football himself.In 2006, Sparks won second place in the 2006 Drug Free AZ Superstar Search.Jordin appeared on the January 17, 2007 broadcast of American Idol, earning a "gold ticket" and the right to appear in the Hollywood Round.Before going on to American Idol,she won Arizona Idol. In 2006, Sparks was one of six winners who won the Phoenix Torrid search for the "Next Plus Size Model.Jordin is the youngest winner of American Idol History and was never in danger of elimination.Jordin is currently in Australia and will be on tour with Alicia Keys this December. Jordin's second mom,Wendy,was diagnosed with Mellonama Cancer,and the story has touched all of our lives.You may know that Jordin had red streaks in her hair supporting Wendy.Wendy recently passed away,so please continue to keep Jordin,and all of her and Wendy's family as with all of Mellonama and other cancer victims.
