oldskool asgard

Well, what's there to say, let's see. I'm Steven, the force behind the oldskool asgard :) I'm 25 years old,At the end of 2003, the name oldskool asgard arose. I was making my first steps in creating electronic music, messing around with old vintage synths, so my first tracks sounded like early 90's oldskool 4/4 techno. My friends actually liked these songs, so i thought of the name oldskool asgard. The term asgard has its origin in norse mythology. asgard is the realm of the gods, located on the highest level of the norse universe. Most advanced beings live there. But there's a new wacko entering asgard land: the oldskool asgard: advanced music through vintage sound. :)Well, that was how it all got started. I've had some more practise in the meantime, and my tracks don't sound like oldskool 90's stuff anymore, but I decided to keep working under the name which it all began with. And not all of the oldskool elements are gone. I still use those old warm analogue sounds sometimes because I like the warm feeling they give to a track, and while working with way newer material now, in some ways, I think there's still some oldskool spirit in there.the musical style varies, I don't spend a lot of effort trying to clamp on to a specific style, I try to find for my own style to make everything sound the way I want it.I've just finished a new demo called "california dream" inspired by a trip I made there back in 2007.
