After 21 years of active duty in the United States Navy I decided to drop anchor(retire) and leave all that underway time for you youngsters. I decided to lay roots in Oxnard, California and started a second career with NAVAIR Pacific Ranges as a Flight Test Specialist. As I turn another page in this adventure called life I look back at my military service with no regrets. The military served its purpose providing direction, disipline, and an oppertunity to excel. It helped define who I am and what I stand for. Often it was difficult being away from family and friends. But it also gave me the oppertunity to make new friends and relationships that will stand the test of time. The long days and hours were often rewarded with the oppertunity to relax and party my butt off with my new found friends and shipmates. I've been very lucky to have been able to see and do so many things in my life. I've been around the world twice and lived coast to coast and overseas. North South East and West. And you all know the West is Best. I have a better understanding of my fellow man and am a better person because of it. Over the past twenty one years I've had the pleasure of working with some of this country's finest. The service members of the United States Military. I salute you all. You have "The Watch" My friends. And to my family a simple "Thank You " for supporting me along the way and keeping the home fires burning ever so bright. To those of you who may still be reading this. Never forget the guys and girls in uniform. They sacrifice of themself everyday so you and I can surf the web , blog, party, love and live. A simple Thank You for thier service goes a long way and a beer or two goes even further so buy em a drink if you can."SIXPAC"
