From the very beginning Jay McGraw’s eyes have been on success but he never knew it would quite be through his own music. “I got started when I had a meeting to manage an artist; he asked me if I ever tried rapping I said no [so] he asked me to try it. He wrote the rap… I rapped it then I just started writing my own music." Initially, Jay McGraw made a name for himself as a talent manager with his own firm, McGraw Artist Management. Jay began recording and in December of 2008, he released his debut mix tape, Eyes of A Boss (M.A.M Records). Prior to the release of his mix tape, Jay made the decision to transform his management firm into a full scale record company, Motivated Artist Making Records (M.A.M) and modeling agency Sophisticated Models. In addition to his multiple business ventures, Jay has performed at Baltimore Convention Center, Eden’s Lounge, Carroll Park, Penguins, Club Krush, Taste International, and Red Square as well as hosted shows for “I of the Storm†Entertainment (Philadelphia, PA) and Four Fathers Entertainment.As an artist, Jay McGraw brings a great party atmosphere with making songs for the ladies and gentlemen. His hip hop style of music is classy and fun and is for anyone that is serious about their business.
