The MacZde Kampec Big Bang was born in may 2007, with the first meeting in France for a common tour, of french rock band MacZde Carpate and hungarian ethnojazz band Kampec Dolores. After a first and short common musical act during those shows, both band worked on the following, and one year later, they met again, for a 3 days residence in Kulturverein Limmitationes in Austria, to compose a full common set. The following tour brought them from Romania to Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia. The recordings of those live could give a first album soon... The music of MKBB is the result of the mix of two different culture, generation, and basis of musical influences. The confrontation of the rough and wild sound of MacZde Carpate with the hypnotics ambiances of Kampec Dolores gives unexpected landscapes for poetics lyrics in french, hungarian and english. This beautifull meeting takes part of this big european underground rock scene which tries to find its own way to create a common abstract language and new musical standards.
