The Dove's Nest is a Christian Poetry and Music Ministry which was founded in 2000. The Dove's Nest served as one of the first venues in Memphis, TN known for providing and oppurtunity for both Christian music and spoken word artist. The venue is known for intruducing the best up and coming artist as well as hosting Christian and Gospel veterns. After a brief hiatus and by popular demand , The Dove's Nest is making a comeback stronger then its beginnings.The mission of The Dove's Nest is to provide an oppurtunity for Christian artist and poets to showcase their gifts and talents to a diverse audience, to provide an establishment where Christians can come and enjoy themselves without worrying about offensive language and music, and to become and establishment where diverse ethnic groups can come together and become acquainted with one another and enjoy and celebrate our differences. Our main priority is to produce an atmosphere where non-church goers can learn about the love of Christ in an out the box way.
