ORGAN MORGAN

About Me

Jim 'Organ' Morgan put the band together when he was invited to perform at a Syd Barrett tribute night at the Social in 2006 (supporting Mr David Viner, and the Lea Shores). He decided to augment his keyboards with the talented snarebashing of Alex de Renzi and the solid bass guitar of Phil Istine. The band's second gig was an Arthur Lee tribute night the following month (supporting the Duke Spirit), for which Luis Almau joined them on flute. Then they stopped waiting for famous musical icons to die, and have since performed at the Acid Gallery, Original Outsider, Goonite, the Buffalo Bar, Fab! club, Midnight to Six, 333 Mother Bar, the Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, the Borderline, the Horse Hospital, the George Tavern. (The songs on this page were recorded and produced by Organ Morgan, and engineered by Peter from the Treliks.)
