Wildlife

About Me

Composed of various species bred in the backwoods of southern Ontario, Wildlife now claims Toronto as its natural habitat, feeding mainly on urban growth and invertebrates. Temperaments changed forever after the introduction of members in 2007, which had profound effects on their respective psychological and environmental conditions, resulting in the emergence of sound; symbiotic musical arrangements aligned Dean on lead guitar and vocals, with Graham, guitar and vocals, Derek, bassist, and Dwayne, the drummer. Adapting to new conditions and companions, Wildlife proliferated and has since been observed making music at venues around Toronto. Wildlife responds to primal instincts in birthing art that revives senses dulled by normalcy and relocates pop rock in a hotbed of driving melodies, evolving into riffs and vocals with punk ramifications. With this they wish to cultivate your imagination; they want to waltz you, spin you, drop you off a cliff and leave you hanging by one branch, then swoop down to rescue with the final notes. Wildlife can be seen in all Ontario’s finest venues, including regular spots at Lee’s Palace, The Boat, The Horseshoe Tavern, and are being heard all the more often on Canadian Radio stations 102.1 The Edge, CIUT, CBC, CRTC and others. Their shows are always knocking socks, the buzz of their little wings is getting louder, and their debut EP is becoming scarcer than a glass unicorn...
