About Me

I have always been a guitar player and I currently play for the bands Fusible Link (progressive experimental metal) and Operation Winter Mist (blackened war metal). In the past I had played for the death metal band Thorazine and the progressive metal/fusion band Age of Kings.
My greatest acomplishment in this life has been, and will always be, my son, Erik.
I began with music at seven years old when my father aquired a piano. Although it was interesting to me (and I wish that I hadn't dropped it) my real want was for a guitar. Listening to college radio in Edmonton during the 70's opened me up to the guitar driven music of Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return to Forever, Rush and the such. I was finally given a guitar for christmas in 1980 when we moved to Okotoks. I have never given it up. This was also the period of time where I discovered really heavy, dark music. Again, I never looked back. Bands such as Celtic Frost, Bathory, VoiVod, and Mercyful Fate made a shitty "family" situation more tolerable.
I also am able to play the bass and have been an on again/ off again drum student for years.
Aside from music, I have a couple of telescopes that keep me enthralled during the winter months. Looking out into outer space is spiritual and I wish that I could actually go there.
I would like to begin playing Call of Cthulhu again. Perhaps give a shot at Arkham Horror. I love Lovecraftian horror!
Aside from several demos I have recorded the following:
Thorazine
- Seed the Black Sky (1999)
Operation Winter Mist
- Rehearsal Demo (2001)
- Frontal Assault Demo (2001)
- Winter Warfare (2002)
- Directive I Promo (2003)
- Winter Warfare II (2004 Regimental Records)
- Imperial Grand Strategy (2005 Die Todesrune Records)
- Allegiance of the Profane Pack (Split 2007 None More Black Records)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The Quantum Consciousness.

The remaining nine of the twelve men that walked on the moon. Particularily Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong. True heroes! Can you possibly imagine walking on another world?

People that can expand my view of the world and cosmos.

My new musical myspace friends.

This is the most important image ever captured.
