In 1990 with the age 14, I started to play drums and founded my first band Orion. After the departure of our singer I decided to do both until they brought up a new drummer. In 1992 we went in a studio to record three songs for our memory. After that we finished school and went separate ways.
In 1993 my drum and I joined the band Scarlett, a party-rock band from Liechtenstein. After several changes of the members we played in '95 at an event called "Sauntschäk" witch was recorded live. Soon the guitarist Roger Kaufmann and I were alone and we jammed together until '99.
In 1995 I was asked by Oliver Falk to sing in his band WeltenBrand . In 12 years of cooperation we recorded 5 albums and made two tours in Germany and Holland.
In 2006 I joined a female-singer-metal-rock-band from Switzerland called Mystic Valley. After one year and two gigs I left the band.
In May 2007 I went on a CD Release Party of my Friends from Downfall . They had a supporting act with a drum computer named Landvogt . I immediately fell in love with their songs and after their gig I talked to the guys from Landvogt and told them that need a real drummer. Singer Herbert "Heba" Ming invited me to an audition in Sept. '07 and after several minutes Heba knew that I was the guy! On the 2nd audition I also convinced the guitarists Peter "Pic" Nigg and Urs Niederhauser. After two weeks they decided to take me as their drummer. That was in October and our first gig was on Nov. 17th in the Hubraum...
In May 2008 I did get a phone call from Hans Ulrich Forrer from the Fossilbar . He asked me if I was interested to play drums in a band he was about to form for monthly gigs in his bar. After he told me that I'd work with the two exceptionally gifted newcomers Angela Willi who sings and Sonja Bossart who plays bass, I was pleased to say yes. On our first briefing they also brought up the guitarist. To my surprise it was no one else then my old friend and the best guitarist I know, Roger Kaufmann. After the first gig, Sonja decided to leave the band and we had to find a new bass player. Luckily we were able to win Christian Vogt for this job. We’re called Power Hour and play cover songs from Rock to Metal.
I also get asked to jump in for a band to play drums to just rehearse or even to play a gig. I'm very happy about those opportunities and wanna thank Lovechild, the Vibes and any other band who will ask me in the future...
