Michael Rosmann

About Me

Michael Rosmann was born in a small town in Lower Bavaria, Germany, in 1977. Although he has never been in a band, he has always been obsessed with music. He always dreamed of living in the UK (the spiritual Mecca of great guitar bands!) and following in the steps of his heroes by becoming a rock legend in his own right.
His life changed forever in 2005, when he visited his cousin in Cambridge and attended the Encompass Festival in London. Listening to 2020 Vision, Dub Taylor, Dub Kult and Giles Smith in some of the best clubs of London was an earth shattering experience for him and this Indie-kid’s life was changed forever…
He was now a fully-fledged electro-convert. Back in Germany, he started reading magazines like Groove and De Bug and completely immersing himself in the world of electronic music. Clubs like Registratur and Harry Klein in Munich and Cocoon Club in Frankfurt became his second home.
A few months later, he sold his guitar and bought turntables. Since 2005, Michael Rosmann has been to London regularly. In 2007, he produced his first song with Ableton and ever since then, he spends most of his days at his computer harnessing new tracks.
Currently, Michael Rosmann lives with his cousin in Cambridge. He works as an online editor/writer for a German magazine and he spends his weekends in the bars and clubs of London.
Michael Rosmann has two dreams: he would like to publish a novel (which will become an international best seller) and he would love to find his name in a back street record store in Soho one day. In the mean time he is intending to conquer London’s clubs with his music and to release his tracks on labels from Germany and the UK.
