Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Gravity Burn has searched the globe for the perfect ingredients. Female-fronted hard rock that leaves not a stationary head, Gravity Burn is definitely set up to rock the house! Formed in the fall of 2006 by drummer Josh Hack and guitarist Mike Buffa, Gravity Burn slowly, but surely progressed. After most of the musical arrangements were done, Hack and Buffa began the arduous task of finding the perfect vocalist. After numerous ad postings and an exhaustive search, Magdalena Ollar was found. Imported all the way from Krakow, Poland, Ollar impressed the Gravity Burn guys with numerous communication exchanges and a few demos. After the first jam session and the first few minutes, it was indeed certain that Gravity Burn had its vocalist. In December 2006, the band began writing and rehearsing their new material to search for the remaining member of the band. With the discovery of bassist Adam Holcomb, Gravity Burn was complete. After a few weeks, the first demo was recorded at Virtuo Sound Studio in Kenessaw, GA. The word spread like wildfire and before even playing their first gig, Gravity Burn had received airplay on The Project 96.1. What followed next was an extremely fast ascent to the top of the Atlanta music scene. Endorsements had begun to roll in from manufacturers such as Sonor Drums, Silverfox Drumsticks, Spector Basses, X/2 Digital Wireless and many more expected! By November of 2007, with just four months under its belt, Gravity Burn was signed to Renaissance Records (Koch Distribution). The debut full-length album, "Weight and Sea" is IN STORES NOW!
