Now the reason why I made this MySpace profile is because I was sick and tired of working hard and trying my best with my job and with my education, but all I ended up doing was wasting time and money. So that is why I decided to create my business online, so that I can work with something that I have a passion for. So I created this MySpace profile because I want to meet, network, help, and mentor new entrepreneurs who are in the same situation that I was. Hopefully my story and my experiences will inspire you to discover a better alternative just like I did when I started working from home, being my own boss, and making money online. But before I cut into all the juicy steak (oh man do I LOVE steak)...let me tell you a little bit more about who Jurel Santa Maria is.
So Who Is Jurel Santa Maria?
I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Technically, I live in Henderson, but do you know where that is?) Alright I’m gonna come out and say it. I am a Ge²k! Yes, yes, I am a geek. Now why am I a geek? I love computers. Oh man, speaking of computers, I love me some HI-TECH gadgets. You know, like an iPhone…man I was trying to think of a list but there are just sooo many things. One of my biggest passions is VIDEO GAMES. I wanted or I still want to be involved with making video games. I would probably more fit for the design part of games. I was so close to follow my dream of being a Video Game Designer, but my family just couldn’t support the tuition.
So I tried to go into Graphic Design. I went for a whole year in community college taking classes for graphic design, but I just was not into it. I just couldn’t feel the same motivation, the same passion as I did for video game design. So I failed some classes, and being in an Asian family, that was not good at all. So much disappointment and that really affected me. I tried to take different classes but I didn’t have passion and the support from my parents were now gone. They always thought of me as a failure. It hurt a lot, knowing that I was trying so hard, yet knowing that my parents expected me to fail. So I would ditch classes, I would waste more money. My mind and my body just couldn’t take the pressure anymore.
So I got a job at Jack-In-The-Box. I thought, “Alright, if I can pay for my own tuition I can do it!†WRONG! Not only did I have pressure from my family, but now I had pressure from work. Man I respect all those who work at fast food restaurants. The work that I did was not relayed on the amount of my paycheck. I would receive $600 dollars a month. I couldn’t take it, I quit after three months. I tried school again, worse this time. I found a job at a women’s shoe store. My friend started the business. It was an ok job, I could play video games in the back room most of the time. A few customers, some were pretty good looking. HAHA. That is where I started to break out of my shell.
Now during the time that I was working at the shoe store, I stumbled upon INTERNET MARKETING. I had been previously searching for a way to make money online. So I found a book on AdSense. I wanted to see how much money I could get from doing what was said in the book. But with my job and school, I just didn’t have time. So after I found that book, I knew that the internet was going to be where I had to business. I just felt like I was suffocating from those scheduled jobs. It was like my freedom, and my time was stripped away.
So after a few months, my friends shoe store closed down because we weren’t making money. So I was relieved, I felt free again. So I tried out all that was put into that book. Did I make any money? Yeah, $4 dollars. Well actually, I lost money because I paid $67 dollars for that ebook. So I lost money in that investment. But I was determined to make a career online. I knew it could work because I made some sales. So I went into affiliate marketing, but I would spend hundreds of dollars on AdWords. Only to make a profit of $100 dollars a month. I was almost gonna give up. I was almost going to return to corporate America.
So How Did I Overcome Corporate America?
But then, being the internet addict that I am, I stumbled across a video. And it was so ingenious, it was so mind-boggling. I could not believe the methods that this video taught. So I watched videos after videos, my mind just expanding with knowledge. Now I knew WHAT to do to get free leads and traffic. Now the answer in my head was HOW do I get free leads and traffic. I found a liquid vitamin that worked for me and my family. It offered a free business with it. So I was ready to try out all the methods. It was UNBELIEVABLE. People watched my videos, rated, commented, and contacted me. So what do I have to offer? I will teach you the methods that I learned from the videos, AND I will teach you techniques that I have learned in the different fields of Internet marketing and how you can apply it to your business.
