The first incarnation of the pop-punk trio Dive 25 came together in Red Deer, AB in the spring of 2008, comprised of Matt Cassidy, Kyle Whitehead and Darren Dornstauder.
They debuted on stage in May of 2008 in front of a filled high school gymnasium, sharing the stage with several popular Western Canadian bands.
The group brings several years of experience to their music, and combined, boast an exciting brand of writing fueled by personal experience, drive to succeed, and of course a handful of longnecks!
Despite this relaxed approach to songwriting, Dive 25 manages to harness that energy and apply it in a positive direction. Producing a meaningful product that is fun to be a part of.
Expect major things from this trio in the months to follow, with a demo in the works, and more shows to be scheduled.
