About Me

Eddie and Debbie were married at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, MS. 28 years ago. We had only two stateside assignments during our whole millitary career. We lived in England and Germany and travelled all over Europe before finally being stationed at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana, where we retired from the Air Force. We decided to settle down in Shreveport, LA. and we love it here. Eddie went to work as a civilian becoming the chief engineer for The Radio Group. He maintains many stations here in the local and surrounding area. Debbie is a Diplomat for the Bossier Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Chamber leadership as a representative for Wellspring Ministries. We have one son, three gorgeous grandchildren, and 6 spunky little schnauzers. Thank you, Jerry and Donna for starting our little family.
We have spent most of our married life in one form of ministry or another. We had just about done it all, but the Lord kept calling us to come up higher. In March 2007, Eddie and Debbie both answered the call to full time ministry and Wellspring Ministries was born. Be sure to check out our Wellspring website at www.wellspring-ministries.org.We were both licensed and ordained through the EPIC Ministries Internship and Ordination Program. We pastor a home fellowship in the Bossier City - Shreveport, LA. area. We minister together. Debbie writes and teaches. Eddie teaches and has a weekly radio talk show. We have a prayer tent ministry as well as a nursing home ministry and other community outreach. Our home base is Grace Church in Texarkana, TX.which is pastored by Orville and Robbie Farren.
Wellspring is an interdenominational and evangelistic ministry with a focus on relationship, restoration and dicipleship. Our vision statement is "Discovering and Releasing Destiny." We have a heart-felt desire to see those who have been saved by the blood of Jesus, through faith in Him alone, fulfill the destiny of God on their lives. We believe that God is a merciful, loving and forgiving Father who only has good plans for His children. We value the minister above the ministry. The vision of Wellspring Ministries is to train and equip leaders to recognize their callings and gifts and to be able be released into their positions within the Body of Christ. We believe in the restoration of the five-fold ministry as described in Ephesians 4.
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Ephesians 4:11-13 (NKJV)
Wellsprings focus is one of relationship. We are committed to sharing God’s love, hope, mercy, forgiveness, and grace through evangelism, discipleship, community outreach and the ministry of healing and restoration to everyone has through the course or life become weak, burdened, confused, scattered or lost in their relationship with the Lord.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
An estimated 17,000 leaders leave the ministry every year. Wellspring comes along side of them to help them understand that God will, indeed, establish His purpose for their lives and they can walk into the destiny that God has prepared for them. He has not changed His mind concerning them. We believe that the God-ordained destiny and call is not lost because of failure and spiritual shipwreck. God’s calling and plan is eternal. Ideally, we are able to reach them before they leave the ministry. If not, we work to help them be restored to that sure calling.
For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. (He never withdraws them when once they are given and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace, or to whom He sends His call.)Romans 11:29 Amplified.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

We are looking for all those who know that they have a desire to walk into their God-ordained destiny. We are looking for Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers to help equip and release them to do the work of the ministry. We want to meet people who hunger for the presence of God above all else, and are no longer content with simply "having a good meeting" or "doing church." We look forward to meeting those who have been left for dead by the church along the roadside of ministry. We wait for the day of meeting our Lord face to face and to know as we are known.
