Currently Jeff is facilitating “The Spirit of World Drumming Circles”, share the Spirit & Health of Drumming, key note speaker to promote community through drumming for music educators and drumming enthusiasts of all ages.

Jeff is a dedicated educator who facilitates drum circles in his community and at several music festivals, such as the Northern Lights Festival/Summerfest/Sault Ste Marie Echoes Drum Festival. He has also facilitated drum circles and clinics for the Rainbow Public School Board Music Task Force, Laurentian Hospital Rehab Center, ICAN, Crisis Intervention Annual Conference, AIDS Awareness Conference and at the Ontario Music Educators Association Conferences.

In July of 2005 Jeff also had the pleasure to facilitate “The Spirit of World Drumming” for participants from all around the World at the XV World Transplant Games held in London, Ontario.

Jeff has also published an instructional book and DVD on world music/drumming called “The Spirit of World Drumming, Drum Circle Fun for All Ages” which will be available by Mel Bay Publications Internationally. The book/DVD can be used as a resource for the classroom, within their community or to be used personally to help people discover their inner-sense of rhythm and life through World music.

Besides being a prominent music educator and clinician Jeff also performs professionally. For the past 12 years Jeff has led his own jazz ensemble “Solar Jazz Ensemble”. This group has performed at various functions and music festivals. Jeff has also been the primary drummer/percussionist for the Mauricio Montecinos Latin Band and has performed at a variety of music festivals in Ontario, CBC live radio and television sessions. Since 1994 Jeff has performed on live television for the CTV Lions Club Telethon as permanent percussionist in the house band. He is currently writing music in collaboration with famous native visual artist/poet William R. Morin combining music, poetry and world drumming. Jeff is also publishing an instructional book and DVD on world music/drumming called “The Spirit of World Drumming, Drum Circle Fun for All Ages”.
