I'm a happily married Portland-based freelance Illustrator who enjoys working in a variety of media from watercolor and oils to inks and digital painting. I'm currently working on an upcoming fully illustrated book (written by my wife Laini) with Arthur A. Levine’s Scholastic Books imprint. I’m also about to begin developing artwork for the second “Faeries of Dreamdark†novel with Penguin/Putnam, also written by Laini. The first Dreamdark novel, titled Blackbringer, came out in June and you can see the jacket art I did for it below. Some of my other clients include the role playing game companies Upper Deck and White Wolf Publishing, and the comic book companies Dark Horse and Image.
